Arrlved—UHniaroa (11.10 a.m.), from Melbourne and HObart. (English mail). TAINUI, FROM LONDON 1 . At 7.80 a.m. to-day the R.M.S. Tainui (Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner) arrived in the stream from London, and at 10.30 a.m. pratique had been granted, and the vessel berthed at the outer tee, King's Wharf. The Tainui left London on the 30th January, and Plymouth on the Ist February, With ten first, 60 second, and 490 third class passengers, Teneriffe was reached on the morning of the Cth, and Capetown on the 20th February, where the yesEel took some 1600 tons Of coal, and left for Ilobart at 7 the next lrOrning. Hobart was reached >on the 11th March, where 960 tons of general cargo wan landed, and 16,000 caseß of apples loaded for Monte Video and Bio. Maitai, replacing Captain C. McLean, who had to come ashore owing to ill-health. The command of the Kini, 'Vacated by Captain Whyborn, is to be taken by Captain H. W. Platts, late of the Taviuni. Mr. H. J. S, Johnson rejoined the Manuka on Friday as third engineer in place of Mr. Geo. Luke. The latter transferred to the Terawhlti as chief engineer in succession lo Mh Bankine, who is on holiday leave. Mr. A. W. Beardall, late third officer of the Taviuni, has joined the Warrimoo in a sfmilar capacity. Captain Berquist, well known locally as commander of the Wanganui, is now master of the six-masted barquentine Evevitt G. Griggs, in the Puget Sound-Sydney timber trade. . BUTE3HIBE, FOR LONDON. Under charter to the New Zealand Shipping Company, the Buteshire sailedx from Wellington at daybreak yesterday for Lyttelton. Departure will be taken from the southern port on Wednesday next for London, via way ports. The barque Louba Craig, 683 toils, hao beta chartered to load coal at Hokianga for Melbourne. Another charter is the barque Majorie Craig, 409 tons, to load timber at Whangape for Sydney. The Kini arrived at Greymouth on Friday night, and is to tuke in a load of timber for Lyttelton.
