STEAMER LOST
CREW AND PASSENGERS DROWNED. By Tfeletrapii. —Press Association.— Copyright, CONSTANTINOPLE, 9th March. 'The English ateamet Calvados, an iron screw steamer of 353 tons, built at Greenock in 18fts and formerly owned by the London, Brighton, and South Goa*fc Railway Company, trading locally, was lost in the Sea of Marmora a week ago. The loss of life at the time was officially denied, but it is how admitted that the crew and two hundred passengers perished.
