In connection with tho case in which Mr. Cecil Chesterton, editor of the New Witness, ha« been summoned for libelling Mr. Godfrey Isaacs, .President of the Marconi Witless , Telegraph Company, whom he accused of corrriptly_ conspiring in regard to the Marconi wireless contract with his brother, the AttorneyGeneral (Sir Rufue Isaacs) and the PostmasteT'General (Mr. Herbert Samuel), the article also declared that Mr. Samuel and Sir Ruf us Isaacs and his brother were engaged in a swindle and were guilty of theft, knavery, and villainy. It also attacked the i relatives of both parties. A second article said that when Mr. Samuel was caught with his hand in the till there was a slump in Marconi shares. It also accused Mr. Samuel and his cousins of pulling the wires over the purchase of silver in India.
