The position is somewhat chaotic. If Mr. Dickinson's amendment is defeated many of the Liberals and Labourites will oppose Mr. Lyttleton's as tending to endow the unionists with a new form of plurality . [Sir Fjdward Grey's amendment in to omit the word "male" from the Bill. Mr. W. H. Diokiiison's amendment gives the vote to women over twenty-five who are occupiers or the wives of TJccupiere, thus enfranchising six million people.
