Choicest New Zealand, per cwt, 118s to 1225; ordinary quality, 112e to 116s; Australian, 114«; Argentine, 112b; Danish, 1295; Siberian, 108s. Cheese.— The market is steady. There is a .better demand. Lower prices are encouraging business. The average price for the week for tho finest New Zealand cheese ib— White, 60s 6d ; coloured, 61s 6d 'per cwt. Hemp.— The market is quiet, but steady. New Zealand good fair grade, per ton, £33; fair grade, £31 10s, for any position 1 ; fair current Manila, £32; forward shipment, £34. The output from Manila for the week was 18,000 bales. Wheat.— The market is dull on account of heavy arrivals. New Zealand longberried, ex granary, per quarter of 4%lbs, 38»; shortberried, 375. Oats. — The market is- quiet, but steady. A large supply. New Zealand short sparrowbills, ex granary, per quarter of 3841b«, 255; Danish, per quarter of 3201b5, 235. Beans. — The market is firm, with more enquiry. New Zealand f.a.q.
