GRAIN AND FLOUR. Wheat. — The market is steady and prices are firmer owing to reports of damage to the orops in Southern Argontine. Thirty-six shillings and ninepence per quarter of <Wolb is (isked for Australian Jahunry-February shipment, and 36s 6d for' Murch-April. Theso prices are 3d down on the week. At Liverpool the quotations for wheat "futures" aroi Fbr December delivery, Jd lower nt 7s 3id per cental ; March, £d lower at 7e 3^d ; May, l^d down at 7? 2d. Australian wheat on the spot in London is in fair supply, and sellers arc asking 40s per quarter of 4961b-~-lhe same price as last week. New Zealand wheat is dull of sale at 375. / Flour.— Slow of sale. Australian patent brands aro quoted at 28s 3d por sack of 2801b, ox store. » Oats.— Tho market is flat owing to excessive supplies., "A" grado Cartons on spot are nominally quoted at 26s M27s por quarter of 380 ib; spurrotobills 2Bs 3d-25s 9d. La Plata*, tor December shipment, arc 'selling at 16s per quarter of 3041b. : Beans.— There is a good demand ot 39a* 6d per quarter of 5041b, ox Btore ; 38s 6d on passage. _ > . Butter.— Tho shipment of b'uttcr by the Morea arrived in excellent conditionThere is a good demand for all choicest makes, and poor enquiry for secondaries. Danish, 188b to l3ls; choicest Victorian, 114s to 116s; Now South Wales, H2u to 114s; Queensland, 110s to 112s; New Zetland, 120s to 1235; Argentine, 110s to 112 a; Australian secondaries, 106s to 108s. Sugar.— German beet sugar, 88 per cent, net hire, Id higher at 9s 7d p»r cwt; first marks granulated, f.o.b. Hamburg, Id higher at 11s 9d. BRADFORD TOPS Tho Bradford wool market, is very firm, and business, as a result, is restricted. Quotations:— 64's, 2D_cl per lb; super, 2«id; common 60's, 27£ d; 56' s, 2sd; 6O'«, 21id; 46's, l?id ; 40V, 16d. THE METAL MARKET. Copper.— *On tho spot, £1 10s lower at £75 2s 6d per ton; at three months, 17b 6d lower at £76 15s; electrolytic, £81 16s 6d. Tin.— On tho spot,' 10s lower at £226 ss; at three months, £1 lower at £225 10s. Lead.— Soft foreign, unchanged al £18 2s 6d per ton. Pig-iron.— Middlcsbro. No. 3, 5d lowbr at 67ft 3d per ton.
