MOUNT LYELL DISASTER
INQUEST ON THE VICTIMS. FUNERALS LARGELY ATTENDED. By Telegraph.— Press ABsoci4fcion.-*Copyi-ißht. (Receiyed December 6, 9.15 a.m.) HOBART, This Day. At the inquest on the bodies of the i miners Gard and Studwell, recovered yesterday from the North Lyell mine, the evidence showed that death wa« due to carbon monoxide gas poisoning. The Coroner explained that the eases arising put of the disaster would be dealt with by another tribunal. The funerals of the victims were largely attended.
