CAPTURE OF BABA ESKI
TURKS MAKING A STAND. SOFIA, 29th October. The Capture of Baba Eski was effected by Bulgarian cavalry. A etand is being made^by the Turks in the Ergene'"Walfey/ Jfend - they are constructing earthworks along the river westward of Baba Eeki. Bulgarian cavalry cut communications between Adrianople and Constantinople,' and it is reported that another Bulgarian force has captured Demotika, on the Salonika railway, thirty-two miles west of Baba Eski. , , Bulgarians captured two provisionladen trains. The provisions captured at Kirk Kilieseh are sufficient to main* tain 100.000 men for three months. The Bulgarians have taken Krecna Pa«e and the town of Drama, north-east of Salonika. The Turks have retired from Kuprili in disorder. Four thousand Macedonian volunteers have left Sofia for the front. LONDON, 29th October. The capture of Drama severs communication between Constantinople and Macedonia.
