AGREEMENT IN PAINTERS' DISPUTE
(by telegraph— press association.) DUNEDIN, This Day. The Conciliation Council here has been hearing the painters' dispute, and an agreement has been arrived at. The rate of wages for journeymen ha 3 been fixed at Is 44d an hour. This is the first union of the kind to get this amount.
