' REV. HERBERT HENSLEY HENSON. By Telegraph,— Press Association.— Copyright. (Received October 30, 2.30 p.m.) LONDON, 29th October. The Rev. Herbert Hensley Henson has been appointed Dean of Durham. [The new Dean has been Canon of Westminster Abbey and Rector of St. Margaret's since 1900. • He was born in London in November, 1863 ; and educated privately and at Oxford. He was head of the Oxford House 7 Bethnal Green, in 1887-88, vicar of Barking, Essex, from 1888 to 1895, select preacher at Oxford in 1895-96, and at Cambridge in 1901, incumbent of St. Mary's Hospital, Ilford, from 1895 to 1900. and chaplain to the Bishop of St. Albans from 1897 to 1900. Hie publications on church questions are numerous.]
