The Turkish representative here received his passports ninety minutes before the Austro-Russian representations in favour of peace were made. SOFIA, 9th October. The official paper Mir estimates that the strength of the allied armies of the Balkan States will be 600,000. BERLIN, 9th October. M. Saaonoff, Russian Foreign Minis* ter, had an interview with Herr yon Kiderlen-Waechter, German Foreign Minister, and then departed for St. Petersburg.
