BUSINESS : To Receive (ho Report and Balancesheet for the year ended 31sfc August, 1912. To Elect Two Directors in the place of W C W. M'Dowoll and W. ft. Wilson, who retire in aceordanco with tho Articles of Association, but are eligible, and offer themselves for re-election. To Elect Two Auditors in placa of G. S. Kissling and W. B. A. Morrison, who offer themselves for re-election. That tho objects of the Company be extended so as to include, power to acquire and hold shares in any Company or Corporation carrying on insurance business of any kind, and that for such purpose ths pro* visions of the Memorandum of Association of the Company be, and they are hereby altered by deleting from sub-clause (0) of clause 3 the words "other than a Company or Corpora- \ tion carrying on insurance business of any kind," and adding tho words "association or society," so that the said sub-clausp (0) shall road as follows :«-To invest and deal with the moneys of the Company not immediately required in such manner as may from time to timo ba determined, and in particular in purchasing or otherwise acquiring and holding shares in any limited company or corporation association or society. 'And that the Directors be authorised to apply to tho Court to confirm this Resolution. RESOLUTION NO. 2. That Articles 79 and 82 of tho Articles of Association of tho Company be altered by substituting the words "six hundred" for the words "one thousand." RESOLUTION NO. 3. That Article 102 of tho Articles of Association of the Company be altered by striking out ahd cancelling the words in brackets in sub-clause (4) of tho said Articles ("other than companies carrying on . insurance business of any kind"), ahd by adding tho words "associations _or societies" after the words "limited companies."
