WELLINGTON UNION. The weekly meeting of .the Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby Union was held laet evening, Mr. E. o.' Hale* presiding. It was decided to arrange, if possible, a match between the" Wellington A and B teams, to take place on 28th September. The proceeds of the match will be devoted to the Charity Fund. The following curtain-raisers were fixed for next Saturday : — Wellington v. Wanganui (fifth-claes) and the final for the sixth-class champ ionehip. The manager of the Northern tour submitted hie report regarding the tour. The conduct and discipline of the players on and off the field left nothing to be desired. The total cost of the tour wae £176 14s 3d, being £26 lees than on the previous Northern tour. The report was adopted, and it was decided to eend letters of thanks to various gentlemen who had looked after the team, aleo to the various unions visited. Mr. Perry moved that the Cup final, next Saturday, be played on the repreBentative ground— noHh and south. This was defeated, and it was decided to leave the matter over until the morning of the match. If the weather permits the game will be played on the representative ground. It was stated that Mr. Nieleon had been selected as the referee for the match.
