In the Imperial Challenge Shield competition for Naval Cadets, senior section, the Albany team was first, scoring an average of 90.3 points; A Company, 51st Battalion, South Melbourne, was fifth; and A Company, Naval Cadets, Lares Bay, South Australia, was sixth. The junior competition was won by the Cottesrnore School, Brighton, England, with an average of 89 points. D Company, Naval Cadets, South Australia, was seventh.
