TO-MORROW'S GAMES RUGBY WELLINGTON v: WAIRARAPA. At the Athletic Park to-morrow the above match will be the main attraction. FINAL SCHOOL MATCH. As a, curtain-raiser to the above representative match the Terrace and Petbne West Schools will play the final for the public schools championship at 1.45 o'clock. HOUSE GAMES. The annual match between the Customs and Marine Department and the Customs Agents will bo played to-mor-row. Another annual match will take place at Seatoun Park between teams representing the Union Company's local staff and Combined Shipping Companies. The following are the teams : — Combined Shipping Companies. — Derrick, Gardiner, Aitken, N. D. M'Lean, Binnie, Hoiderness, Tilyard, Brown, Campbell, Holmes, Dinnie, Mills, Wilson, Hopkirk, Drake (captain). Union Co.—Gilbert. Abbott, Young, Pickering, Dods, Spillane, Simon, Feeney, Murphy, Cauley, Fennell, Barber, Smith, Jones. CIVIL SERVICE TOURNAMENT. The Civil Service tournament, which begins to-morrow, has attracted six entries. As the teams include many senior and junior players some good games should result. The fixtures for to-morrow are as follow : — Customs ' y. Public Trust, at Newtown Park ; Railways v. Audit,' at Anderson's Park; Public Works v. Advances to Settlers and Treasury, at Kelburue Park. ' ASSOCIATION , CHARITY 1 CUP. Last Saturday the Swit'ts-St. John's First Division Charity Cup match result- j ed in a draw, despite the fact that an extra^ twenty minutes was played. In consequence the match will be replayed on No. 2 ground at Duppa-street to- ! morrow afternoon. As the winners of that match were to have mot V.M.C.A. in tlie semi-final, fixed for to-morrow, it has been decided to postpone other j Charity Cup matches until Saturday, 7th September. However, an A versus B trial game will be played to-morrow on No. 1 ground, Duppa-sfcreet, alongside the Swifts-St. John's match, so that the selectors will be able to see both matches and from them select players to go into training in view of the Brown Shield match, Wellington v. Canterbury, winch is to be played at Lancaster Park, Christchurch, on the 14th September. Mr.-G. A. Preston (of Dunedin) has been appointed to aofc as referee in that contest fdr the Brown Shield. The names of the players selected to participate in the trial match were published in yesterday's issue. Mr. H. Yeoman will referee in the Swifts-St. John's match, and Mr. J. B. j Paton will have charge of the Trial game. REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES. j Three representative matches in which j Wellington teams ai'e taking part will be played to-morrow. The Third Division representatives are to journey to Shannon, where they play the representatives of that district. Black shirts are to be worn by the Wellington team. Mr. D. Ferguson has been appointed manager of the team. Newtown. Park' will be the scene of the 1 other two games. At 1.30 p.m. the Wellington Fourth Division representatives and the Manawatu Boys' representative team will take the field and play a cur-tain-raiser to the Wellington-Auckland Fifth Division representative match. The Manawatu boys will mot arrive until to-morrow morning, and they return to Palmerston by the afternoon train. The Auckland team arrived by the express yesterday afternoon, and were tendered a reception at the V.M.C.A. rooms. This evening the boys will be entertained at a picture show, and on Saturday evening both teams (Auckland and Wellington) will be the guests of the Wellington Football Association at a tea. In connection with the two matches at Newtown Park the.C ity Council has granted permission lor the Association to take up a collection at the park. Mr. A. F. Newbold, with Mr. F. O'Connell as one linesman, the other to be appointed on arrival of the Manawatu ' team, will have control of the curtain-raiser. The referee in the Auckland-Wellington match will be Mr. B. L. Salmon, with Mr. R. Hutcheßon as one linesman, the other to be appointed by the visitors. SECOND DIVISION. The .final for the Second Division Championship will be played at Kelburne Park,, commencing at 3 p.m., between Diamonds and Wadestown. Mr. J. Ince is the referee.
