Advice, lias been received by the local agents stating Uiat the lonic, which left Wellington on. the Bth August, left Monte Video in continuation of her journey to London last Wednesday. A cable has also been received' announcing the Arrival of the Kumara, which left WeUlnnton on the 13Hi July, at London on, Wednesday las£ The Maori, which arrived from Lyttelton this morning, had an unusually rough trip up the coast, and consequently did not reach here until just on 9 o'clock. Head winds were met with all the way, with heavy seas before midnight. Owing to the state of the bar there axe no movements to report from Greymoutn. The Koonya, Pukaki and Alexander axe held up inside, and the Oponri, Himitangi, and Ngatoro outside. The Mapourika ha? not arrived at Westport from Greymouth, and consequently will not get away for Wellington until 10 o'clock to-morrow rooming. She will not be here until Sunday. Captain' J. G. 8. Doorloy, late of the Te Anau, wae a passenger from Hie South this morning. He will shortly relieve Captain Stott, local marine superintendent, who is to go on holiday leave. ! The Pateena, which left today, took tho following saloon passengers :— For Picton: Mies Hall, Mesdames Fabling, Vause, Messrs Butt, Brennan, Redstone, Shaw, Chiaholm, Cooper, Coleman, Fabling. For Nelson: Misses Moffatt, Harrington, Waterhouse, Rearing, Dinneen, Everett, Williams, Meedames Mason, Horton, Kirk, Brown, Grant and child, Messrs.
