MR. CHURCHILL'S VISIT TO CANADA. ROUND TABuToONFERENCE • PROPOSED. By Teltgraph.— Pi'Oßi Association.— Oopyrlfht, LONDON, 11th August. Correspondent* of the Montreal Cassette and the Toronto Globe who are with Mr. Borden, Canadian Prune Minister, in England, state that Mr. Winston Churchill, First Lord of the Admiralty, will visit Canada in September with a battleship and an imposing squad>ron under Admiral Prince Louis of Battenburg. It is understood Mr. Borden will ask Sir Wilfrid Laurier to confer with Mr. Churchill on .the question of a permanent naval policy, and that he propose a round4&ble conference of the Canadian parties, Sam* opposition amongst Ministers to Mr. Churchill's visit is due to unwillingness to influence Canadian opinion. "CERTAINLY TIME FOR ACTION." OTTAWA, 10th August. Mr. W. Mac Lean, a member of the Dominion Parliament, in an article on " Will War Between Britain and Germany Ever be Nearer?" says: MWe must imagine thait if Germany were successful in invading England nothing could keep her out ol the United State*, although Canada, might be her first objective. It is a 'time for thought, maybe' for prayer, but certainly for action.''
