SHOOTING AFFRAY SENSATIONAL DOINGS IN NEW YORK.

A shooting affray occurred to-day on tho East Side as a result of which Raymond Forbey, alias Clark, stands charged with snooting Morris Schwartzkopf dead and seriously wounding Maxwell Katz. Forbey, a man with a bad criminal record, was capturedin a cellar by two policemen, at the point of the revolver. Katz had identified Forbey as his assailant. ' Forbey, it Is stated, called at Schwartzkopf's store and after having an argument over some watch repairs shot his victim in the neck. Then ha called at Katz's cigar store and began shooting. Katz grappled with tho intruder, and was wounded three times. Forbey is believed to have been concerned with two others in the killing of Walter Meseritz in February last. When arrested, Forbey gave the name of Walter Brooks, and declared h© was innocent of the crimes alleged against him.
