RAILWAY MEN'S CLAIMS
DUNEDIN, Thia Day. i At the Railway Officers' Institute annual conference, it was resolved — "That every effort be made to have immediate effect given to the recommendations of tbe Eauway Committee on the petition presented to the House in 1911. Th© opinion was unanimously expressed by members of the council that tbey had receivea a verdict from tho highest tribunal to which they could appeal, namely, Parliament, -which bad found that the claims eeb forth by the- officers of \ the Railway Service were justified.
