Professor B«esley, who was a passenger on the ill-fated Titanic has published a book on his impressions of the disaster. He states that owing to the sense of apparent security amongst the passengers after the collision those in the boats would not have been surprised to hear that everybody had been saved. The cries of the drowning aftor the final plunge were a thunderbolt.
