Several European newspapers comment on the gravity of the situation in Turkey. » Shevket Pasha (Minister of Finance) resigned because the artillery refused to fight the Albanians. The Albanian revolt is threatening to develop into a general movement against the Government, and a Committee of Progress; also the Italian war ist dragging, and there is much discontent and intrigue in Constantinople because Shevket Pasha failed to purge the army of politicians. KOJME, 11th Jnly. It is reported that the Italians buried over 300 Turks at Mieratah.
