Great Britain demands the delay of the Panama Canal- Bill until Mr. James Bryce (Britiuh Ambaeendor) presents the. British objection* to the provisions of the measure. The Canal Bill will be presently before Uie Intel-Ocean Canal Committee of Congress. The nature of the British objections has not been disclosed, but considerable excitement was caused in political circles when the newe was announced.
