[PRESS ASSOCIATION.] EXPLORING SHIP AURORA

NEWS WITHHELD. x DUNEDIN, 10th July. The Antarctic exploring ship Aurora arrived unexpectedly off the Head* this forenoon, and one member of the expedition (Mr. B. Primmer) was taken cfi by the pilot launch and came up to Dunedin. Mr; Primmer wae a member of the kinematograph staff, and was entrusted with important dispatches relating to the expedition. Jq[ news, however, is being withheld until it is published in journals having the exclusive right to it, and Mr. Primmer would give no information beyond Btating that the Aurora had had a very rough trip of twenty-three days from Macquarrie Islands. All the members of the expedition (Dr. Mawßon's) were in good health when the Aurora left. The vessel sailed for Lyttelton* after landing Mr. Primmer, and should reach there to-morrow afternoon. , Mr. Eitel, secretary for Dr Mawson's expedition, arrived nere on Tuesday by the Moeraki, and will probably go to Lyttelton 'to-morrow to meet the Aurora.
