. tho .excelsior Lodge, U.A.0.D., held its fortnightly meeting laat night. The receipts of tho previous meeting wore £12, ami siok pay to the amount of £42 waa passed for payment. Two hew menibors were duly initiated, and anibhg tho visitors to whom, a hearty vote of thanks was passed were Bro. Mawhinnoy (P.A., Pacific), Bro. W. Davia (P.A. Eltham), and Bro. Wutohmair (Brunner Lodge). The arrangements for the Indies' night, to take the form of a, social, are now complete, and the gatheriug promiecs to bo most successful. ' The Good Intent Juvenile Temple, 1.0. G.T., held their concert in St. James's Hall, Hutt. The hall was well filled, and every item thoroughly enjoyed.
