[BX TBI/BGKAPM — PRESS ASSOCIATION.] NAPIER, This Day. The Harbour Board yesterday adopted a. Bill for presentation to Parliament empowering the Board to borrow £30,000 for reclamation work. Some fifteen years ago the Board leased a big portion of the Whareo-Maranui reserve to a. syndicate, who carried out extensive reclamation works in Napier South, over five hundred dwellings being erected on the reclaimed land. There is still a big expanse to bo dealt with, and thb proposed loan is to carry this out and buy out tho interests of the present syndicate.
