HARRIERS
The Centrul, Harriers held their first annual three-milo sealed handicap at Miramnr yostorday. Dr. Couzens acted a* starter, and Mr. W. 11. Philp .and Mr. Lily as timekeeper?. Tho following wero tho handicaps: — C. Pugh, scr; J.'M'Lennan and F. Burrell, 20sec; N. Paulson, 35seo: E. Vango, 455.00; G. A. Scott, 60' mo; C. Duck, SOmvTi C, Eough, X Rutlodge, 120seo; S. Myers and B. Pnarco, 150 sec. At the start Bin-roll, jumped to the front, closely followed by Vango and Paulsen, the rest of the field w-ell tailed out. This^ order remained unchanged, with the exception of 'Paulson, who retired at the mile post. Burrell nut up a splendid performance, winning comfortably from Vango (2ndJ and Duck (3rd). The handicap resulted m favour of Vango 1, Rutledge 2, and Duck 3., Next Wednesday tho club will run from tho Kelburne Kiosk as the guests of Mr> Gr. Scoft.
