IMPROVING DEMOCRATS' CHANCE ROOSEVELT'S IRREVOCABLE DECISION MR. BRYAN'S CHANCES OF NOMINATION. By Telegraph,— Presi Association.— Copyright. NEW YORK, 25th June. Mr. Roosevelt is planning to form a new party from the ground up. He states that he has irrevocably decided to sever himself from the -Republicans and to refuse all compromises. It is now considered that the serious cleavage in thei Republican Party is improving greatly the chances of the Democrats. The fight that threatened to rend the Democratic Party has ended with the selection of Judge Parker as temporaxy chairman of the Democratic Convention at Baltimore. Mr. Bryan threw his influence against Judge Parker, but the latter secured eleven of a majority. The result indicates that Mr. Bryan's chances of securing the Presidential nomination are slight.
