In connection with, the arrest of threo persons, supposed to be Anarchists, at Iglau, a plot against the Archduke Francis Ferdinand has been, disclosed. The men arrested include Catanero, a priest, and Ipavic, a. peasant. The latter declares that Catanero offered him £20 to throw shrapnel at the Archduke' 6 car. A shell was found in Ipavic's house. Mr. Samuel Gompers, president of the American Federation ot' Labour, Mr. Frank Morrison, becretary of the Federation, und Mr. John Mitt-hell, a vice-pre-sident of Ihe Federation, who a little over a year ago secured a reversal of convictions for contempt of Court, in printing a boycott notice against the Bucks Stove Range Company, of St. Louis, when a strike was in progress, have now been found guilty of contempt of the Supreme Court in connection with a trial involving a labour question, and extending over a period of several years. All (three have bee& sentenced to imprisonment. An appeal is probable. LABOUR AMALGAMATION «. WORKERS' UNION AND BUSH WORKERS. SCHEME~ADOPTED. By Telegraph.— PrMm Association.— Copyright.
