Two thousand unionists who resumed work in the -London docks last week have again struck. Mr. Gosling, secretary of the Transport Workers, speaking at a meeting in Hyde Park, said that if they didn't win now they would strike again, bo they might on well remain out. . The Industrial Council has opened a public enquiry on the cause of the labour unrest. ' • GENERAL STRIKE AT LISBON. CONFLICTS WITH POLICE* (Received June 25, 8.5 a.m.) LISBON, 24th June. J A general strike has been declared at Covilha, wnere, yesterday, twelve thousand weavers struck. There have been numerous conflicts with the police, and shots were freely exchanged. Fifteen thousand cork workers and coopers have struck. Many attacks have been made on the police, and one man was shot dead. BOYCOTT AT MARSEILLES. PARIS, 24th June.
