WHINLATTER RESUMES HER VOYAGE

AUCKLAND, 12th June. Tho Norwegian barquo Whinlatter sailed from Ahipara Bay on Monday for New Caledonia, and, so far as the Customs authorities were able to learn, her crew was below its full complement. The Norwegian Consul at Auckland offered to find additional seamen for the vessel, but the captain declined assistance, and, as the baroque is a foreign vessel, the Customs authorities had no jurisdiction over her, and coul,d not prevent her from tailing short-handed. The six men who deserted remained in New Zealand.
