Two. borough employees, John Walden and John Conway, were driving to work this morning when their horses shied, and the driver pulling on the reins caused the bit to break. The horse bolted, and Conway in trying to dismount from tho trap fell under a wheel and was killed almost instantaneously. Walden scrambled out of the rear of the trap and sustained cuts on the knees. Conway, who was aged 44, leaves a wife and threechildren.
