MUNICIPAL BY-ELECTION.
Yesterday iiCtornoon a number of lady supporters of Mr. Tregear's candidature in tho coming municipal by-election hold a meeting; in tho Trados Hall, Cuba-street, Mi-s. J?. Reyling being in th© chair. Preliminary arrnngeruents Were made for tho conducting of a campaign to peottro the candidate's return. A committee was formed, and_ a large number of natnes of persons anxious to assist were submitted. Mr. Tregoar briefly addressed the meeting, and thanked those who had offered their services. A further meeting will be hold during the early part of next week.
