SHOOTING LICENSES.

[PBE6S ASSOCIATION.] ROTORUA, 27th April. When the Minister for Internal Affairs was in Auckland, the local Acclimatisation Society urged on him that these societies, as well as postmasters, should be authorised to issue licenses. The Hon. G. W. Russell, having ascertained there is no legal difficulty in the way, has issued instructions that 'every society applying shall be' authorised to sell licenses in addition to their being procurable at post offices.
