AGRICULTURAL EXPERT APPOINTED.
Mr. A. Wylie, a Glasgow Univereity and Agricultural College student, twenty-six years of age, has juat been appointed to < the fefcaff of the New Zealand Agricultural Department by the Government. Before coming to New Zealand he will visit «ome of tha leading agricultural institutions in Canada and the United States. Mr Wylie had a brilliant career at college. He ha* had five years' experienct in practical farming, and has attended eight sessions at the Glasgow University and Agricultural College. He i« a Bachelor of Science, has earned agricultural national diplomas, and an agricultural and dairying college diploma. 1,, agriculture he was the most distinguished student of his year, and has lectured and conducted experiments and demonstration* under the Irish Department of Agriculture. For a year he was the assistant at the principal Glasgow Agricultural College 5 and h« ha« had two year* of similar work at other colleges. <
