( The Beaeonsiield Hotel (Davies, ii I geti&oe) at Makotuku was burned down early yesterday morning.* Sugden's store, the Public Library, a blacksmith's, sliop, ! and tho olHce of the salej-ards were a'so burned. Veiy little^ was saved from the hotel, and iiothingifrom tho store. The origin of tho iire~is not known. The 'us urunce.fi aro" not available.
