Mr. Pointer stated that he did not desire to answer 'a charge based on an inaccurate report. Mr. Malcolm retorted that Mr. Pomter had told him he was not going to run. away from his statement. Mr. Pointer did not answer this, and the Speaker *>aid tliat if tJio report was anything like correct it was grossly offensive. It was, however, also ludicrous, and tho House could form its own judgment.
