M. Jouin, Deputy-Chief-Detectivo, accompanied by M. Colmar, Chief Inspector, in searching anarchists' premises at Ivry in connection with the Ruo Ordener outrage, encountered Connot, the motor bandit, who with a revolver killed M. Jouin and severely wounded M. Colmar. Connot escaped.
