By Telegraph.— Press Association.— Copj right. (Reoeived April 25, 9 a.m.) LONDON, 24th April. SILVER. Bar silver is quoted at 27£ d per ounce* standard. WHEAT. The American visible supply of wheat ia 104,726,000 bushels. TALLOW. At the tallow sales 1953 casks wero offered and 1661 sold at a sixpence advanoe. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 24th instant: — Tallow — Wo quote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow: — Good mutton, 35s 9d per cwt; good beef, 34s per cwt; mixed, 32b 3d per owt. The market is firm. Wheat — We have Bold at 40s 9d, c.i.f., a handy Australian cargo. Thore is very little demand, owing to increased supplies, and market prospects are not likely to improve at present.
