The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 24th instant: — Tallow — Wo quote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow: — Good mutton, 35s 9d per cwt; good beef, 34s per cwt; mixed, 32b 3d per owt. The market is firm. Wheat — We have Bold at 40s 9d, c.i.f., a handy Australian cargo. Thore is very little demand, owing to increased supplies, and market prospects are not likely to improve at present.
