TOTALISATOR PERMITS.
AUCKLAND, 24th April. When the question of the working of the anti-gambling legislation was referred to the Hon. G. W. It was a matter for the Minister for Justice. Mr. Russell pointed out that the findings of the Racing Commission were to have effect for only one year, and that the period expired on 31st July.
