King George has coidially endorsed an appeal ,by the Primate of All England to young clergy to volunteer for service as chaplains in India. His Majesty said he trusted that tho Church of England would always realise that- on« pmt of her vocation, is to minister to those who. amid peculiar trials of faith and circumstances of special isolation, are serving God in the great work of governing India.
