M.C.C., tht. immediate cause being the fact that Tarrant (formerly of VictoriaJ had played against an England eleven in Australia. The rule wae made to read :—"1.:—"1. A dricketer may not play for more than one county within, the calendar year; the penalty for -an infringement of this rule to be disqualification for two years.
