Mr. Arthur Griffiths, who has been prominent in Fiji, has arrived here. He will settle in Sydney. Mr._ Griffiths states that already there are forty-five thousand Indians in Fiji, and. if they continue to arrive at the present rate Fiji will practically be an Indian colony shortly. In five years' time the Indians will run the place. The Fijians are rapidly melting away, and the only way to save them is to substitute- individualism for the communal system. The Indian menace is, he says, serious enough to warrant Commonwealth action. - f
