Mr. [ Askaw said 1 he was simply there ,to f bear witness to his faith, and give bis message. The address to men in the • . Town Hall Concert Chamber between i 1.20 pjn. and 1.50 p.m. was given by ! 'Archdeaoon Hazper, who Bpoke on the I -Cross of Christ as a historical fact, a i historical power, and a power in the . lives of men at the present day. The ' women's servkee were held in the i Missions to Seamen Institute, Whit- ' more-street, at the same hours as those for men. The first address was given by the Rev. A. M. Johnson, vicar of i St. Paul's, and the second by the R«v. [ iA. L. Hansell, ,vicar of Karori. r The men's meeting in Post Officesquare to-day was well attended, and a i helpful - address was given by Rev. Mr. ; Raine. In the Concert Chamber of the Town Hall Bey. Mr. W. Fancourt spoke to ..business men on the lessons to be leaaened from the life of Judas Iscariot — a, man of outstanding business ability, one who had misused great gifts, falling a victim to avarice and ambition — the love of money and the love of power. Revs. A. M. Johnson, Vicar of St. Paul's Pro-cathedral, and Askew, St. Mark's, conducted the lunch hour services for •women in the Missions to Seamen Chapel. To-morrow's meetings are advertised in this issue.
