INDUSTRIAL UNREST.
.SUGGESTED ROYAL COMMISSION QUESTION OF DRILLING. (Received April 2, 11 a.m.) LONDON, Ist April. The Prime Minister, Mr. Asquith, speaking in the House of Commons, said he was not satisfied that a- Royal Commission would meet requirements in respcc^ 1° tue present industrial unrest. He added that the Government was considering the question. Mr. George Lansbury, Labour member for Tower Hamlets, drew attention to the fact that large bodies of Orangemen were drilling in Belfast, and asked whether the Miners' Federation would bo allowed to drill it« menibeifl. The Premier refused to reply to a hypothetical question.
