FOB EASTER TRAFFIC. On account of the heavy Easter holiday traffic the s.s. Mokoia, from Napier, (Jisborne, and Auckland, will not proceed to Dunedin this .trip, but will bail for Wellington from Lyttelton ou Thursday in company with the Ls.6. Maori. On Good Friday evening the Mokoia will eail again for Lyttelton, where sho will remain until Easter Monday, wlieu she returns here, sailing on the Tuesday lollowing for northern ports. The Mapourika will arrive at Nelson from Wcstport and Greymouth on Saturday morning, (Sth in«t., and will remain at Kelson until Monday evening, Bth April, when she sails for Wellington via Picton. Owing to the Te Anau being further delayed she will not arrive ia Wellington until tomorrow morning. She ie timed to sail for New Plymouth, Westpcrt, and Greymouth at 3 p.m. to-morrow. > The return of the Wellington cargo taken by the Otaki, which left ou Saturday morning last for London, in now complete. It is as. follows :— 2450 bales wool, 1008 bales hemp, 318 bales tow, 115 cabks tallow, Cl casks pelts, 2 Bucks copra, 1 package general cargo, 500 quarters beef, 500 bags legs mutton, 16,965 carcases lamb and mutton. Mr. Moorehouse, of tho local office of the New Zealand Sliipping Company, has been , transferred to Timaru. He leaves for* the latter office at the end of tho week. The Kiripaka v/as liud up at l'atea (this morning, and will remain there until the' opening of the next cheese scabon. Captain W. Stevens, of the Aorangi, is to take charge of the'Marama on her next trip from Sydney to Auckland. At the latter port Captain H. Morrisby, who has been, on holiday* leave, will rejoin the vessel. Captain Steven* will then return to Sydney to resume command of the Aorangi. The Rosamond sailed at 5 o'clock last night from Ouehunga for Wellington via. New Plymouth.
