There have been fourteen cases of incendiarism in Christchurch in the last eight months, seven in one suburb. In the great majority of cases the premises were greatly under-insured, and in a number of instances the houses were unoccupied. The police have no • clue, but it is believed some person is making a practice of incendiarism.
