At the Liverpool Spring Meeting, the following was the result of the race for THE GRAND NATIONAL STEEPLECHASE (handicap), of 3500 eovs, including a trophy value 125 soys, by subscription ot 30 soys each, 20 ft, or 5 soys only if declared ; second to receive 200 , soys, the third 100 soys, and the fourth 70 soys; for five-y&ar-olds and upwards; Grand National Course (about 4 miles and 856 yards).
