CITY RESERVES.
I GROUNDS FOR WINTER GAMES. The Reserves Committee of the City Council made the following allocation of city reserves for sports during the coming season : — SATURDAYS. New-town Park.— No. 1, Rugby Union ; No. 2, Wellington Football Association. Anderson Park.— No. 1, Rugby Union: No. 2, Wellington Football Association. Duppa-btroefc (No. I).— No. 1, Football Association ; No. 2, Football Association ; No. 3. Lacrosse. Duppa-street (No. 2).— No. 1, Wellington Hockey Association ; No. 2, Wellington Hockey Association ; No. 3. Lacrosse. K#lburne ' Park.— No. 1, Wellington Football Association, No. 2, Rugby Union. Kilbirnie Reserve. — Wellington Foolball Association (subject to the ground not being lcquired for impcovemenf work). Nairn-streefc Reserve.— Brooklyn Boys' Football Club. WEDNESDAYS. Hockey. — Duppa-street No. 2. «n« ground on Anderson Pai'k, Kilbirnio (subject to tho ground no' being required (or improvement work). Football Association. — New town No. 2 ground, No. 1 Duppa-street (two grounds), one ground Anderson Park (if uecei^ary), one. Kolburne. i Rugby.— One on Newtown Park, one on Kclburne Park. - St. Patrick's College. — No. 1 ground Duppu-streefc (one ground). During the meeting a deputation from the .Wellington Football Association, consisting of Messi-s. H. M'Keown, B. L. Salmon, and J. J. Lewis, waited on the committee urging consideration to their request, for grounds. On being shown the list,, the deputation expressed itself as quite satisfied with the commilteo's allocation.
