FBI TEIEGnAPH— PBKSS ASSOCIATION.) AUCKLAND, 28th March. An ordinary general meeting of share* holders in the Ross Goldfields (Reconstructed), Limited, was held at the Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Geo. F. Davis, of Christchurch (chairman) presiding. In the annual report the directors stated that the following work is at present being proceeded with : — The xeerection of a mile of transmission line, deviation of portion of Government telegraph line, deviation of company's line near Kanieri Forks, strengthening »f power house building, connecting auxiliary pipe line, alterations to main valves, overhaul of the whole of the transmission line, and the effecting of necessary repairs where possible. Tenders had been called, and the work would be done by contract. It was estimated that the cost of these alterations and repairs would be approximately £400. A ten- ! der had been accepted for a- Diesel oil engine and generator' set for use as an ' auxiliary motive power- to the .present hydro-electric plant. ' "Hie 'contract price 'was £3457 10s. The whole of the 'directors, Messrs. Geo. F. Davis, W. E. v Wilson, John C." Colbeek, and H. M. ' Smyth were re-elected. , HEALTH HINTS FOE EHETJi MATISM.
