CAGE BIRD CLUB.
PRIZES AND CERTIFICATES. v The Canary and Cage Bird Club dinner, heldi last evening, was a very enjdyable function. Mr. D. Murphy'prjß- . sided, and there was a large attend--'ance. The time after dinner was spent 'in music, and passed all too swiftly. The chairman presented the following prices' and -certificates to successful exhibitorß-: — T. O'Sullivah, 5 special prizes. 13 nret-class certificates,- 3 seconds, and 6 thirds; R. Bailey, 3 special " prizes, 3 first-class certificates, 3 second's, and 1 third; W. ,Foglia, 2 special prizes, 3 first-class certificates, 2 seconds, and 3 thirds; W. Bull, 2 special prizes, and 1 first-class certificate; A. Staples, 2 special prizes, 2 first-class 1 ' certificates, and 4 seconds; W. Geary, 1 'special prize, 3 first-clasß certificates, and 1 second ; P. Rodgers, 3 first-class certificates, 4 seconds, and 2 thirds,; Miss Hastie, 2 first-class certificated, < and 2 thirds ; W. Denham, 3 first-class certificates,- 2 jteconde, and 2 thirds; L. Double, 1 first-class certificate, 1 second, and 1 third ; J. Copp, 2 second* class certificates, and 1 third; H. E. Airth, 1 first-class certificate, and 3 thirds; P. W. Lamb, 2 first-class certificates; .A. Oliver, 2 third-class certificates; 0. Peterson, 2 firet-claes certificates, and 1 second. SERVICES FOR MEN. Services for men, to be addressed by ' Bishop Sprotfc, Archdeacons Hjirper and W. Fancourt, Revs. C. F. Askew, W. Raihe, H, G. Blackbnrne, and G. P.. Stephenson, will be held next week at Post Office-square at midday, and in the Concert^ Chamber. Town Hall, in the afternoon. Services for women will be held at the same hours at the Missions to Seamen's Institute, to be addressed -by Revs. A. L. Hansell anil E I. Sola, in addition to other clergymen * mentioned above. The mission is timed for Holy Week, beginning on Moncfay next, and is in the hands of a local 1 committee set up by Bishop Wallis, as the outcome of the general mission of ' 1910, under the direction of Canon Stuart. Tile Church of England's ' Men Society will assist at th& ineu'fl #ervicefl.
